Pelikan Watercolours:

I love these watercolors, and have used them for over 30 years, they are from Germany and are made from high quality pigments of the finest grain size. They have great flowing capacity, and if you combine them with quality paper, you will be assured a high quality outcome.

Easily soluble, they deliver good light fastness with brilliant, dense colors, and no waste at all. ( pan sets )

Tubes may feel more arty, but once you have used the Pelikan Watercolour pan sets, there is no way back ..

They are often mistaken for student water colours, in fact, on most German schools, the students would use the Pelikan Opaque Watercolor Set.

We use only the professional Pelikan Watercolors.

I always make sure, I buy a few sets, when I am in Germany, as unfortunately they are very hard to come by.

Pelikan Colors, Set of 24 — This set is contained in a plastic palette box and features brush wiping edges and an interior palette section.

Colors included: Lamp Black, Paynes Gray, Carmine Red, Flesh, Indian Red, Real Red, Vermilion, Real Yellow, Orange, Lemon, Indian Yellow, Yellow Ochre, Cobalt Blue, Violet, Prussian Blue, Ultramarine, Turquoise Blue, Blue Green, French Green, Yellow Green, Chromium Oxide Green, Burnt Sienna, Umber Natural, and Van Dyke Brown.

In case you wondered... Pelikan is the German way of spelling Pelican :-)
